beauty is in the eye of the beholder
but i find beauty in everything

silver hues, rainbows refracted
all the textures, the feel

the rusted hinges in the corner
as lovely as red desert sand

two-toned twilight
the sun playing at the edge of darkness

softens the world
brings new hope

there was light,
there was light

even in the darkest room
there was light in my eye.

This is 1/unknown of an experimental series of poetry/prose. The rules are no rules. There is no theme, only that they are all random and spontaneous and miscellaneous and nonsensical and perhaps unfiltered thoughts. These are my sundry sentiments.
